Who is Lady Gagita? and Haronce?

A few months ago I was searching for Lady Gaga videos on YouTube and accidentally stumbled upon a parody of Telephone.  It was so hilarious it made more than a million hits!

Two lads... yes they are lads.. Vinzon Leo Jay Booc and Harold Palermo of Davao City Philippines, now known as Lady Gagita and Haronce, created a parody of Lady Gaga's Telephone just for fun but later on became viral.  These two teenagers (and their mates) didn't have a lot for their props but they sure are very resourceful.  Sneaked out the mother's old wedding gown (including underwear!), built a hat from a bin bag and used an electric fan cover as a steering wheel.  If there is an award for Recycled Fashion, they are going to win it!

Funny enough, none of their family members knew what they were doing. They used a small digital camera to film the video frame by frame then Lady Gagita (Vinzon) pops in an internet cafe to do his editing as he didn't have his own computer that time.  Very impressive! So many of us have high tech gadgets but only a handful have this kind of talent!

Luckily both Vinzon and Harold's (Lady Gagita & Haronce) creativity and hard work paid off. They were discovered and are now appearing in various shows and events throughout the Philippines.  Lady Gagita also made it through as one of the top finalists in the Fiercest Lady Gaga Fan competition by Ryan Seacrest. There is only one wish left unfulfilled though: meet Lady Gaga and Beyonce in person!
